Susan J. Arrick concentrates her practice in the defensive litigation of workers compensation matters at both the trial and appellate levels. She has evaluated, litigated and successfully defended thousands of claims throughout South Florida. In addition, she has prosecuted numerous claims against the Special Disability Trust Fund, and protected workers compensation lien interests in third-party actions. She has lectured before several insurance carriers and self-insureds on the topics of Loss Prevention, Litigation Management and SDTF Recovery. Ms. Arrick, from Miami, Florida, earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice at the University of Florida and her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami. She is AV rated by Martindale Hubbel and a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Workers Compensation Section of The Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Arrick is a certified civil mediator.
Sandra L. Peacock has a well-established defense practice at both the trial and appellate levels. A major focus of her practice is representing employers and carriers in reimbursement claims against the Special Disability Trust Fund. She has also assisted risk managers and self-insured employers in understanding and implementing A.D.A. compliance measures. Ms. Peacock, from Massachusetts, earned her B.A. in English from Syracuse University, cum laude, and her M.S. in Social Planning from Cornell University. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. Her professional memberships include The Florida Bar, the Workers Compensation Section of The Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Kelly M. Fisher specializes in employment law and workers' compensation matters. Ms. Fisher counsels and represents clients in the following employment law areas: discrimination, whistleblower, retaliation, sexual harassment, employment contracts, the Americans with Disabilities Act, wage and hour and general personnel matters. Her workers' compensation practice includes State claims as well as the Federal Longshore and Harborworkers’ Compensation Act. Ms. Fisher is a certified instructor for the Department of Insurance and routinely conducts seminars for clients and organizations. She earned her B.A. from the University of South Florida and her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Fisher is admitted to the Florida Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and is a member of the American Bar and St. Petersburg Bar Associations. She is active in the Tampa Bay community, including membership on the Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s Advisory Board and the Krewe of Pandora.
Bruce A. Arrick concentrates his practice in the areas of third-party liability litigation in state courts at the trial and appellate levels, and has substantial bench and jury trial experience in a variety of matters. Mr. Arrick, born in New Haven, Connecticut, received his B.A. in Political Science and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. Mr. Arrick has been an instructor in Appellate Advocacy at the University of Florida, and has been a member of The Florida Bar since May 1982. His professional memberships include The Florida Bar and the Dade County Bar Association.
